The Story behind the Ecopoint Concept:
I think language shapes our thoughts and cultures – including our climbing culture. Therefore, creating new terms could support our actions, such as our approach to climbing.
Hence, two years ago, I first suggested the term greenpoint after climbing the route ‘Prinzip Hoffnung’ by public transport, not being aware that the term already existed. Together with Sofie Paulus we would like to introduce this concept now by the name ‘ecopoint’.
